Race Sponsorship

MTC Exhausts is proud to sponsor PRF Racing.

PRF racing is recognised as one of Britain’s most successful road racing teams with many successes on public roads. Unlike many of their competitors however, they often feature highly in British Superbikes, Britain’s top domestic series.

The highly experienced team has a new stable of top machinery, putting their riders Carl Rennie and Scot Wilson in the perfect position to take on the best.

The 2008 season promises to be a busy one for the PRF Racing team, with great results to be had. Following a full winter testing schedule and with new specification Suzukis for each class, PRF are poised for their greatest season to date. With impressive team infrastructure and Carl Rennie on board, the team will concentrate on the three big international events, the North West 200, the Isle of Man TT and the Ulster Grand Prix. Scot Wilson will be aiming for success at the Manx Grand Prix and both riders will contest the International Southern 100, plus selected Irish road races and short circuit meetings.

Lancashire’s Carl Rennie is widely recognised as one of Britain’s most talented road racers. For 12 years he has been a leading privateer on the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man road circuits. Carl consistently performs and has scored a number of top ten finishes at the world famous Isle of Man TT Races.

Carl is an extremely talented rider, his capabilities as a motorcycle racer are numerous and well documented. He is rightly praised by respected figures within the sport, from journalists and sponsors to industry representatives and his fellow racers. Carl has earned respect through tremendous results, when competing against and beating, many of the sports finest, leading people to believe he has what it takes to win major honours.

Though Carl and the team have given superb performances in British Superbikes, securing podium finishes, Carl’s real ambitions are on the road circuits, in particular the TT races. Carl’s progress on the world’s ultimate road circuit has been most impressive, with a top 6 finish in the 2006 Blue Riband Senior TT and numerous top ten finishes in the Supersport and Superbike classes.

Scot Wilson has only just completed his second season of road racing gaining many good results. A former British Grasstrack Champion, Scot now focuses his energy on road racing, already scoring a top ten finish on the TT course in the Manx Grand Prix.

With PRF Racing Scot has the perfect platform to develop his skills on the roads. In 2008 Scot will be one of the favourites for Manx Grand Prix honours.
